Who can use Sitzy
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding agreement. You’re responsible for the information in your account and for keeping your login secure.
Hosting and joining tables
- Tables must take place at public restaurants or venues, never private homes.
- Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including the venue, time, and number of seats.
- Each guest pays for their own meal unless the host clearly says otherwise. Sitzy is not a party to any restaurant bill or reservation.
- If your plans change, cancel as early as you can so someone else can take your seat.
Community rules
Be kind and respectful. Don’t harass, threaten, discriminate against, or deceive other people. Don’t use Sitzy for dating solicitation without consent, commercial promotion, or anything illegal. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Your safety
Sitzy helps you meet people, but we don’t run background checks and we can’t guarantee how anyone will behave. Use your judgment, meet in public, and leave any situation that feels wrong. In an emergency, call 911.
Your content
You own what you post. By posting, you give Sitzy permission to display it in the app as needed to run the service.
Disclaimers and limits
Sitzy is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, Sitzy isn’t liable for the conduct of users, restaurants, or other third parties, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we’ll let you know in the app. Continuing to use Sitzy means you accept the updated terms.
